USATF Sanctioned Event/Certified Course
The 2nd Annual Run4Rare presented by CureARS is set to return on May 13, 2023 at Duke Island Park in Bridgewater, NJ (New Location!!). This course is a USATF Certified Course (NJ16520JHP). Join this rare brain disease fighting community and dedicate your miles to local resident, Aubrie Rowland (4) and the thousands of others affected and those who will be diagnosed worldwide in 2023.
All of you are making a difference for children and families who fight these rare degenerative brain diseases known as the Mitochondrial ARS Disorders. Every 30 minutes a child is born who will develop a rare mitochondrial disease by the age of 10. There currently is no approved treatment option.

CureARS is a parent organization (founded by two mom's) supporting families and funding research that could lead to life-saving treatments for their children and others affected. Ashley Rowland is a Raritan Resident and co-founder of CureARS.
