How it works

Donate to support a participant or a team or you can make a general donation to CureARS using the "Register or Donate" link above that will bring you to the registration website. Donations are tax deductible!

 

Sign Up to join in the fun! Click the "Register or Donatebutton above to participate in the 1 mile or 5K options in-person or virtually! We greatly appreciate all the support you can give.

All registration includes event t-shirt, water and snacks. There will be live entertainment after the race.

How to join/create a team

TEAM UP: Partner with friends, family, co-workers and neighbors to promote health, wellness AND raise funds for a good cause. Get your team together, get creative with your team’s name, upload a team photo/logo, set your team fundraising goal and circulate your link within your networks for support!

 

To set-up your personalized fundraising page you must first join or create a team!​

  1. Click the "Join/Create a Team" blue and white button under the event graphic on the registration page.

  2. Follow the prompts to either join or create a team. This screen will ask you to create a log-in to be able to upload a picture and enter a story on your fundraising page.

  3. If you want to create a personalized fundraising page, but don’t want to create a new team or join a friend’s team, you are welcome to join our public Team CureARS!

  4. Once your name is set-up as a team member, click the GREEN "Register or Donate" button at the top of the registration page.

  5. There is a drop down menu during checkout that allows you to choose your name that you previously created or choose the specific team to credit your registration fee to.

Remote vs In-person

Remote Participation:

You can participate remotely wherever you are!

  • Select VIRTUAL participation at checkout.

  • Opening ceremony will be live streamed, as well as 1st, 2nd and 3rd place 5k runners crossing the finish line.

  • If you would like to share pictures, please send by May 1st, 2022.

  • When ready, send us an email at info@curears.org with: 1) Screenshot of your distance and finish time (optional). 2) Photos of you (and your team, if applicable). 3) Link to posts on social media for us to share! 4) Be sure to use the hashtag #Run4Rare & #CureARS

In-Person Participation:

Run4Rare with CureARS will start at the Athletics field next to the Arts Building, along Athletics Way at Raritan Valley Community College. If you drive toward the main entrance on Campus Drive, take the first right onto Athletics Way. There is a parking lot next to the field.

  • Registration table will be on Athletics Field. Please arrive promptly at 9:00a.m.

  • Race t-shirts will be handed out during registration

  • Grab and go refreshments (water & snacks) will be provided at no additional cost.

  • We will NOT be holding an awards ceremony

  • We will only track 1st, 2nd & 3rd place participants and these will be posted on our event page and our website.

  • There will be live entertainment after the race.

  • There will be food for purchase after the race.

Event t-shirt

There will be an event t-shirt included with registration only for in-person or pick-up. Last day for t-shirt orders is April 1st.

T-shirts will be given out on the day of the event.

Pick-up will be arranged prior to the event for those attending virtually.
